What are the hours of the Els Avets picnic area?

The picnic area is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.During the winter (from November to March) the schedule is from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., coinciding with the time change.

Do I need to book before coming?

It is not essential to book for the picnic area, the picnic menu, or the restaurant. However, We recommend making a reservation if you come in large groups., to ensure availability and offer you the best service.

Is there parking?

Yes 🚗, we have many free parking spaces, mostly in the shade.

Can I bring food from home?

Yes, you can bring food from home to the picnic area. You can also enjoy our barbecues authorized all year round or order the picnic catering menu. ⚠️ In the area of bar-restaurant It is not permitted to consume food from outside.

Can barbecues be held?

Yes 🔥, at Els Avets we have official permission to light fires throughout the year (Decree 64/1995, Art. 8-15, registration number 735).

Do you have a bar and restaurant?

Yes 🍽️, in our bar-restaurant you can enjoy à la carte lunches, refreshing drinks, ice creams and much more, ideal for those who stop to enjoy the day. Large groups have their own space in the picnic area with the catering menu

Is there drinking water?

We have well water points, suitable for cleaning and other uses. However, it is not considered drinking water and therefore not suitable for direct consumption.

Are there activities for children and families?

Yes! We have playground, green areas, football field and volleyball court.

Can you go on excursions and walks?

The surroundings of Els Avets are ideal for walking 🌲. Nearby you will find the Termes Orion spa 💦, the Magma Centre Lúdic Termal ♨️ and routes such as the Route of the 10 Hermitages ⛪, the Argimon hermitage 🏞️ or the castle and the Mare de Déu de Farners 🏰. You can also enjoy local traditions and festivals such as the Festa Major 🎉 or the Festa de la Ratafia 🍷.

Can bicycles or balls be brought?

Yes 🚴‍♂️, it is very common for cyclists to visit us and come to “do the trick”. You can also bring balls to play in our sports areas.

Can dogs or other animals be brought along?

Yes, they are welcome as long as are tied and it is collect their droppings.

What is not allowed to bring?

❌ No: chairs or deck chairs, firewood, or items that may disturb coexistence. Vehicles are also not allowed in the picnic area.

Yes 🚻, we have toilets and also a toilet adapted for people with reduced mobility.
